The St Andrews University Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Society is a social & welfare group dedicated to providing an open environment for LGBT people and allies within St Andrews. As a subcommittee of the student union, all students are automatically a member of the society, and are enthusiastically invited to our events throughout the year, regardless of sexual or gender identity.

Our events are popular both within and without the LGBT community, and occur at least once per week (with the majority being free of charge). They include clubbing trips to Glasgow and Edinburgh, Drag shows, Film Screenings, Talks & Debates, and the dazzling Glitterball. They're great fun, and there's a strong sense of family and community within our active members, which you are more than welcome to join. We hope to see you soon!

We understand that LGBT isn't all social, and we therefore have a strong welfare committee. Many of our team are Mental Health First Aid trained, and all of us are more than happy to discuss issues affecting you, or answer queries regarding the St Andrews LGBT society and community. We can be contacted through our University emails, listed on the committee page, or through the official LGBT Society email: lgbtsocmail@...
